The Nose Know's.
Last week we were doing our Stem challenge was doing The Nose know's with Mrs Parsons ( AKA our teacher. ) Mrs Parsons gave us a sheet with instructions on what to do. All the bottles were labelled in letters. We had to grab one of the tiny bottles and smell them and try find the matching scent to it and we had found the two that match we would look at the letters and write them down side by side and write what the scent was. After that Mrs Parsons gave us the slide we had to do and post it on our blog.
I really thought doing it was a fun experiment and if I could, I would love to do it again.

10 really cool facts you might want to know.
This week was interesting but fun. The part I liked the most was learning and writing all the facts because they were just really interesting and I learnt more, but I only wanted to put a certain amount of facts so I could fit 3 pictures on the side.
Today I was learning different and really cool facts that were mind blowing, interesting and some were a bit weird but cool to know at the same time.

River's Poppies.
This week during quarantine we had an Anzac contract with all this kind of work to do and I had to post on my blog and so I drew Poppies using a video of Art Hub for kids and it was really fun to do and it helps you practice with drawing if you are not that good at it.
The thing I liked about it was that it was fun and it was really cool to see at the end what it looked like.
The most interesting part was how poppies can be drawn in different ways and different styles.
The easy part was coloring because it's easy and fun at the same time.
The hard part was forming the petals because of how petals are different in their own way so I had to make them unique.

Vikings.
This Week, We were choosing our own civilization and I did Vikings because I wanted to find out where they lived and how they lived. I just found out that they lived in Scandinavia, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
The thing I found hard was finding the best picture because all of them were scary so I decided to get one that looks like a viking but it's cartoon.
The thing I found easy was knowing what to do because I followed the Success Criteria and it helped me to know what to do.
The thing I found interesting was what they used for their houses because we don't use what Vikings use for their houses now.

Thylacine.
This Term we were learning about our own extinct animal. This Term I was doing a Thylacine best known as a Tasmanian Tiger. Did you know a Thylacine competed against Dingo's for food?
What I found hard was getting a lot of information because I had to put that information into a Kahoot and had to do 10 questions about it.
What I found easy was describing what a Thylacine could do to a Hyena with it's teeth because I saw a video at home.
The part I found interesting is that the Greek meaning for Thylacinus Cynocephalus is
"Dog Headed Pouched One".

Haast's Eagle Slide.
This Term, We were learning about Haast's Eagles. We had to include punctuation, a one coloured background and we had to put our facts about the Haast's Eagle into a story, and we had to have 5 - 10 facts about the Haast's Eagle.
The thing I found easy was getting facts about the Haast's Eagle because I knew what facts to put into my slide about the Haast's Eagle.
The thing I found hard was my punctuation because I didn't know where to put my exclamation marks.
The thing I liked was the part where Haast's Eagles can take down a 200kg Moa.
The thing I found interesting was that a Haast's Eagles wings are 3 times the size of my arms!

Powerful Learner.
The hardest part was getting the pentagons into a circle and keeping in time with everyone.
The easiest part was doing my name and my background.
The part I liked was how we got to put our pentagons into a circle even though it was hard but overall it was fun because I got to learn something new.
