Stem challenge.

This Term we were making purerehuas with Matua Steve and Purerehuas are a treasured object that you swing round and round so it makes a noise.
I found easy was sanding the Purerehua because all I needed to do was make sure the end and the sides were smooth so it would glide through the air.
The hard part for me was painting it because I had really skinny lines which made it hard to paint carefully in the lines.
The part I liked was making the design because I love to draw and it was fun to do and I would look after it forever.

Vikings.

This Week, We were choosing our own civilization and I did Vikings because I wanted to find out where they lived and how they lived. I just found out that they lived in Scandinavia, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
The thing I found hard was finding the best picture because all of them were scary so I decided to get one that looks like a viking but it's cartoon.
The thing I found easy was knowing what to do because I followed the Success Criteria and it helped me to know what to do.
The thing I found interesting was what they used for their houses because we don't use what Vikings use for their houses now.

This is my Slide about Soccer.
The part I enjoyed was that everybody had so much fun.
The part I found hard was writing information about Soccer because I didn't go but next time I will go and I bet it will fun.

Thylacine.

This Term we were learning about our own extinct animal. This Term I was doing a Thylacine best known as a Tasmanian Tiger. Did you know a Thylacine competed against Dingo's for food?
What I found hard was getting a lot of information because I had to put that information into a Kahoot and had to do 10 questions about it.
What I found easy was describing what a Thylacine could do to a Hyena with it's teeth because I saw a video at home.
The part I found interesting is that the Greek meaning for Thylacinus Cynocephalus is
 "Dog Headed Pouched One".

Haast's Eagle Slide.

This Term, We were learning about Haast's Eagles. We had to include punctuation, a one coloured background and we had to put our facts about the Haast's Eagle into a story, and we had to have 5 - 10 facts about the Haast's Eagle.
The thing I found easy was getting facts about the Haast's Eagle because I knew what facts to put into my slide about the Haast's Eagle.
The thing I found hard was my punctuation because I didn't know where to put my exclamation marks.
The thing I liked was the part where Haast's Eagles can take down a 200kg Moa.
The thing I found interesting was that a Haast's Eagles wings are 3 times the size of my arms!

A place free to go.

This Term,in Week 6 we all had to do a free place to go to in Gisborne on a slide. We had to put information about the place and what you can do there and where it is.
In Week 6 I found hard was finding where Waikanae Beach is because my Chrome book kept on freezing and so it kept on wasting my time so I got some help from the Teachers.
I found easy was finding out what to do in Waikanae Beach because I have been there there before and it's so fun.The part I thought was interesting is that the maori name is Waters of the yellow eyed bullet.
I liked the part where you can put all sorts of information on your slides, and I thought it was really fun learning about Waikanae Beach.

Powerful Learner.

This is my Powerful Learner slide.
The hardest part was getting the pentagons into a circle and keeping in time with everyone.
The easiest part was doing my name and my background.
The part I liked was how we got to put our pentagons into a circle even though it was hard but overall it was fun because I got to learn something new.
